A thorough consultation will initially be conducted to determine if you are a good candidate for the treatment.
Once the skin has been thoroughly cleansed and prepped, a topical numbing cream will be applied to the treatment area and left on for approximately 10–15 minutes to enhance your comfort during the treatment. After removal of numbing, your eyes will then be protected with safety goggles or eye shields. The Moxi handpiece will then be passed over the treatment area, delivering precise fractional laser energy into the skin. You may experience a warm, prickling or sunburn-like sensation during the treatment, with some areas feeling more sensitive than others. Most clients find the treatment very manageable.

Immediately following your Moxi treatment, the skin may feel warm and appear slightly pink or flushed, similar to a mild sunburn. This sensation typically settles within a few hours.
Over the following 1–3 days, you may notice a fine, sandpaper-like texture and tiny darkened spots across the treated area. This is a normal part of the skin renewal process as the treated pigment and damaged skin cells naturally shed.
The skin will gradually feel smoother and more radiant as it heals, with improvements in pigmentation, tone and texture becoming more noticeable over the following weeks. It is important to follow your recommended post-treatment skincare and wear SPF daily while the skin is healing.
