    The VenusViva™ is a non-surgical solution for skin resurfacing using a nanofractional RF™ applicator.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • This treatment is suited to anyone who shows signs of skin damage, including deep wrinkles, scars, visible pores, stretch marks, and/or anything else that affects the skin’s texture.

    As with any of our Skin Treatments, we recommend a consultation with your Dermal Glow Aesthician before proceeding with our treatments. During your consultation you will be advised on the suitability of particular treatments for your skin.

  • Most clients see results in just 1 treatments but the recommended course is 3 treatments to see noticeable results. This is dependent on each individual and the area being treated.

    Treatments are 4 weeks apart.

  • Each treatment lasts approx 15-30 mins, depending on the area being treated. You will feel tiny pins on your skin followed by a little zap. Your skin will feel warm, like a mild sunburn. 

    The VenusViva™ treatment may be slightly uncomfortable for some people, but not painful. You’ll feel intense heat, similar to the feeling of sunburn and your face will be red immediately after the treatment. 

  • Your skin will be red and feel warm afterward, similar to sunburn. You can ease this by fanning or exposing the area to cool air. Don’t put anything on your skin, not even water for 24 hours. The warmth in your skin will subside within 24 hours.

    After 24 hours you can resume your normal skin care routine as discussed with your Dermal Glow Aesthetician. 

    Your results (following the recomended course of treatments) should continue to improve after your final treatment however some people may need a touch up session every 6 months to maintain results depending on how your skin responds to treatment.
