After 16 years immersed in beauty and dermal therapy, Charmaine founded Dermal Glow with a vision of bringing cutting-edge medical-grade devices to the Bay of Plenty.

Trained alongside prominent plastic surgeons and cosmetic doctors in Perth, her passion for innovative skincare led to advanced training in Barcelona, with the biochemists behind the revolutionary Cosmelan and Dermamelan depigmentation treatments for melasma. Upon returning to Aotearoa, Charmaine became the national trainer for Sciton’s BBL laser system—a mark of her leadership and expertise.

In 2021, she founded Dermal Glow with a clear purpose: to bring these internationally acclaimed, results-driven dermal therapies home to the Bay of Plenty. From her seaside clinics in Ohope and Papamoa, they now offer world-class treatments, from laser and light therapies to advanced cosmeceutical and clinical facial solutions.

The Dermal Glow mission is simple yet powerful: to empower every client with healthy, radiant skin by combining genuine education, ethical practice, and the most effective, science-backed treatments.

Charmaine has 16 years’ experience in the Beauty and Dermal Therapy industry. Charmaine is also the national trainer for BBL Sciton Laser. When she’s not in her dedicated Ohope clinic, you will find her travelling New Zealand training other dermal therapists, nurses and dermatologists.

Dr Jamie - Cosmetic Doctor

The skills that Dr. Jaime has developed practicing as a physician and surgeon for over 15 years translate into steady hands, exquisite attention to detail and an adept understanding of anatomy.

During a consultation or treatment with Dr. Jaime you can expect to start a partnership that explores what is important to you and how we can achieve a natural and refreshed look with a healthy, less is more approach.

Drew - Ōhope Clinic Manager

Drew comes to Dermal Glow with four years of experience in the Skin Therapy Industry. After completing her Beauty Therapist Qualifications in 2019 she then furthered her knowledge by becoming a certified Laser Technician by the end of 2019.

Erin - Senior Skin Therapist

Erin has worked in skincare aesthetics for nearly a decade, completing her degree in Cosmetology in 2015. She has spent time working advanced dermal therapies throughout the Bay of Plenty and is driven to achieve more than just satisfactory results, but excellence in skin care and treatment.

Born and raised in beautiful Papamoa, Dani has a interest in the intricacies of skincare and the transformative power of advanced dermal therapies.

Faye - Senior Skin Therapist

Faye joins Dermal Glow with a wealth of knowledge from her 30-year-long career in the beauty industry.

Originally from the southwest of England, she moved to New Zealand and worked for a well-known clinic within New Zealand for many years before joining the team at Dermal Glow. Her passion is aging skin, pigmentation and getting that glow!
