FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • This procedure can be performed in 30minutes for a quick lunch time treatment or add it to one of our advanced facials for a more relaxing experience.

    Your face will be cleansed initially to remove any remaining makeup and to test the sensitivity of your skin for the following steps. The treatment then involves applying a light peeling solution consisting of AHA and BHA to prep the skin for removal of dead skin cells. After 5minutes we then use  vacuum suction to flush the pores and remove impurities, giving the skin a deep clean and exfoliation.  Finally, infusion of an antioxidant-rich serum into the skin to promote elasticity and hydration leaving the skin completely refreshed, smooth and vibrant.

    (Options to add on LED Therapy or a sheet mask at this point for additional benefits)

  • There can be mild redness for up to 12 -24 hours and on occasion clients experience some mild flaking for 1-3 days after the treatment. Those with acne prone skin can often experience a purging of breakouts a week after the treatment.

    Ensuring you follow post care instructions for 3-5 days after the treatment such as;

    • Avoiding direct sun exposure & application of SPF 30+

    • No heat based activities including, sweating with vigorous exercise, hot showers & spas or sitting in front of the fire or heat pump.

    • Do not use active or abrasive ingredients on skin including AHAs, BHAs, Retinols or any scrubs.

    • Do not pick any flaking skin or squeeze any break outs.

  • Most clients find they have instant results after just one treatment with the HydraFacial. However, best results are seen with regular treatments to keep skin clean from impurities and a healthy skin function is maintained.
