    During the treatment, very small tips penetrate the upper layers of the skin (epidermis) creating small, micro-injuries. The “micro-injuries” are created by “stamping” vertically using an award winning device to create clean micro-channels instead of dragging or gliding across the skin. No scratching or tearing of the skin occurs.

  • With the use of our SkinPen device, fine medical grade needles are passed over the skin creating thousands of tiny microchannels that stimulate your body’s natural wound healing process. This results in the production of new collagen and elastin, all while minimising cellular damage rejuvenating your skin from the inside out. This results in an effective remodelling of scar tissue, while keeping the overall skin structure intact.

  • Once a thorough consultation is complete to allow us to see whether you are suitable for this treatment, we will begin the cleansing process.

    Cleansing then prepping the skin with a medical grade chlorhexidine to ensure the skin is disinfected thoroughly.

    After skin is prepped, the treatment involves the use of the SkinPen device being evenly passed over the skin with fine sterile needles to create tiny microchannels. A little pressure is felt along with some vibration, some feel a tickling or prickling sensation. This treatment is not generally painful; however, the level of discomfort can vary depending on individual pain thresholds. Infusion of medical grade active cosmeceutical ingredients can be used with this treatment resulting in deeper penetration. These can be chosen according to the individual clients concerns to enhance results.


    After the treatment process is complete, further sanitisation is preformed to remove any pin point bleeding that may have occurred, aftercare of calming ingredients is then applied to the skin. You will receive a treatment cream to apply at home.

  • Initially after the treatment the skin will appear red and slightly inflamed. This tends to decrease over the period of 12-24 hours. Clients describe this as a sunburnt sensation. Over the next couple days some people report minimal flaking and tightness to the skin.
    Being very cautious of avoiding touching the skin or using any products for 12 hours is essential to allow the wound healing response to close microchannels.
    Avoiding hot showers, spas, saunas and public pools along with excessive exercise that involves sweating and the use of active ingredients is recommended for 48 hours after treatment.
    The downtime is very minimal which often just involves slight redness where a mineral makeup can be used 12 hours post treatment. However, each person’s downtime will differ and can also change depending on intensity of treatment performed.
    Avoiding picking any dry patches is imperative to avoid the risk of pigmentation, scarring and infection. The use of SPF is always recommended post treatment.
