With nearly two decades of dedicated experience in advanced dermal therapy, Charmaine is recognized as one of New Zealand’s leading clinical skin experts.

Her career is defined by a relentless pursuit of aesthetic excellence. Early in her career, Charmaine relocated to Australia to train and practice alongside prominent plastic surgeons and cosmetic physicians in Perth. This immersive medical environment shaped her clinical approach, giving her a profound understanding of advanced, high-tech medical devices and complex skin conditions.

Driven by a passion for transformative results, Charmaine’s expertise has taken her globally. She was selected to train in Barcelona with the pioneering biochemists behind the revolutionary Cosmelan and Dermamelan depigmentation systems, mastering advanced protocols for melasma and severe photo-aging.

Today, Charmaine is the National Clinical Trainer for the world-renowned Sciton BBL Laser system. When she is not consulting with her dedicated clients at Dermal Glow, she travels across New Zealand, educating dermatologists, nurses, and fellow dermal therapists on advanced laser protocols.

As the Founder of Dermal Glow, Charmaine brings this world-class, medical-grade expertise home to the Bay of Plenty. She is passionate about designing bespoke, results-driven treatment plans that deliver profound, lasting transformations for her clients.
